Point of Purchase Signage

For Shoppers home Health Care (SHHC) stores, the main point of purchase display format was a double-sided “t-stand” poster, usually placed at the store entrance.

A typical retail point-of-purchase display

The standard point-of-purchase display for Shoppers Home Health Care stores was a double-sided “t-stand” display.

We had experimented over the years with using some of the other standard Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) signage options (e.g. shelf hangers, flag signs etc.), but the smaller SHHC store format, combined with wider aisles and less standard shelving, made most of these impractical.

Sales on key products (e.g. lift chairs, mobility scooters, etc.) would usually run 2 or 3 times a year. Due to changing featured products, dates and sale details, I had to come up with a different design for each sale. Sometimes it would be a small variation on the last sale’s poster, but more often I would create a completely new design, finding new ways to exercise my creativity on a familiar subject matter each time.
